The MOTHER of the rashes.
Which came about in the beginning of January.
I initially thought it is a ringworm with the shape of it.
Din think too much of it coz my face was in a more worrying state in January.

Din think too much of it coz my face was in a more worrying state in January.
And amazingly, the next month, the same spot appeared on my left arm at almost the same location of my right arm.
Was not bothered because I thought it should go away soon right?!
APPARENTLY NOT.

IT EXPLODED during end of March - April.
Well it looked worse a few days ago. And I am also starting to have it on my fat stomach, back and thighs.
And I thought shit will it spread to my FACE? It already gone up my freaking neck!
And the itch is starting to irritate me!!
So I went to my awesome family doctor.
Apparently it is called Ptyriasis Rosea.
Dun ask me how to pronounce it

Some interesting facts:
- The cause of pityriasis rosea is not certain but its clinical presentation and immunologic reactions suggest a viral infection as a cause
- It is a common type of skin rash seen in young adults (NOOO I WANT TO BE A KID)
- Not contagious usually
- Rash starts with a single large patch called a herald patch and after several days more skin rashes will appear on the chest, back, arms and legs. (... Mine started after a few months... Slow reaction like self)
- No treatment is usually required
- In most patients the condition lasts only a few weeks but in some cases it can last longer up to six months (I guess mine is in some cases)
- The disease resolves completely without long-term effects. (Good to know)
havent heard from you in a while! you ok?
